Con esta medida, se extiende por 15 a\u00f1os adicionales la exenci\u00f3n contributiva sobre los ingresos que reciben los arrendadores de propiedades residenciales, lo que significa que dicho beneficio estar\u00e1 vigente hasta el 31 de diciembre de 2040. La intenci\u00f3n principal es ofrecer estabilidad en un momento en que los costos de vivienda contin\u00faan en aumento, protegiendo as\u00ed tanto a propietarios como a inquilinos.\u00a0<\/p><p>Un aspecto clave de esta ley es la distinci\u00f3n que establece frente a los alquileres a corto plazo, como los que operan a trav\u00e9s de plataformas tur\u00edsticas. Estos quedaron excluidos del beneficio contributivo, ya que su naturaleza comercial no responde al prop\u00f3sito original de fomentar la disponibilidad de hogares para residencia permanente. Con esta decisi\u00f3n, se busca incentivar el arrendamiento a largo plazo y apoyar a las familias que dependen de un techo seguro.<\/p><p>Es importante destacar que todo propietario tiene la responsabilidad de informar en su planilla de contribuci\u00f3n sobre ingresos la actividad econ\u00f3mica de renta, aunque esta sea exenta. Asimismo, el beneficio que ofrece esta ley no exime del pago de patente municipal ni del CRIM, obligaciones que contin\u00faan vigentes para los due\u00f1os de propiedades.<\/p><p>En t\u00e9rminos pr\u00e1cticos, la Ley 66-2025 significa mayor certidumbre para los arrendadores, alivio fiscal en tiempos de inflaci\u00f3n y un incentivo claro para mantener propiedades en el mercado de alquiler residencial.
